You are thinking out of the box. The distressed pencil is effin spot on. That thing SCREAMS squid. Wicked cool idea!

I took some wood lure bodies, some kits and other stuff. I think that there 'is nothing better. Salty is the way!




From a 2 Oz Surface Needle Body, very versatile

This is my first one. I tried copying a paint scheme I saw on the forum, but got carried away w/ the spots. Now it looks like a rainbow trout. I'm hopeing a snook or redfish will still want to eat it. I had fun getting it painted. Hardware & epoxy tonight.

Thin your epoxy a little more with denatured alcohol and put it on thin. It will stop the distortion you see in some of those. They look most excellent!
