Scott's boats a good deal, we logged a lot of miles and brought a lot of fish over the rail  :)

the topaz was nice, it offered a lot but a few things bothered me, when he winterized it he cut all the hoses instead of removing the clamps, the boat looked as tho it was done in a rush, keys left in the ignition, electronics still in the overhead boxes, he romved the refridge and put it between the v birth thru a piece of plywood over it and that made the v birth one big bed. I asked why the fridge? blankets and pillows looked as tho someone just slept there too  :o . painted over rust on the motors, it had snap a bolt changing an injector all over it  :-[  then theres money to be spent fixing that. lots of lose wires in the compartment and the oil in the bilge wasn't too enticing too.
I wonder if the foot of ice that covered 3/4 of the new batteries and the shafts will have any effect on them.

I left Savannah, Georgia this morning headed to the Tampa area. As I rolled down I-95 i saw a 23 Mako being towed by a white Suburban with Mass tags. Your other option wasn't slipping town, was he, Nummie? I laughed when I saw it...

You left Savannah in January voluntarily? Bill, I used to think you were one of the saner ones around here. I know it's warmer in Maryland than up here, but sheesh! Even my wife's talking about moving south. Of course, last summer, she was talking about moving to Canada.

PJ,

I left Savannah headed south to Tampa where it is 81 degrees right now. I'm headed back out to do a little reconnoitering...

Bill is a different story. We'll deal with him for leaving us to go to 80 degree temps

Hey Numbie - what's the verdict on the boat???  Did you get a boat?
