I know that rock. I fell on that rock abt 6 or 8 years ago.

THAT would be a pretty QUIET day at that rock Handy

I've seen spray go 100' in the air from waves there.

What you don't see is to his right is an island about 150' from shore with a lighthouse on it. The water funnels into a narrow straight right there and there's a bit of current, that's what makes this spot so good. I've had my boat within 100' of where he took this picture. Off in the background is Long Sands. A great place to throw some plugs in some of the bowls and rock piles.

The day I fell on that rock I broke my custom rod in 3 pc and effed my neck up hard. I've had serious problems with arthritis in my neck ever since. I took a nasty whiplash injury there and touched my head on the rock when I went down. Just enough to say wtf did I ground out there or what.

I couldn't move my neck for over a month at the time. 2 xrays and a mri abt 3 months later.....

Lol don't know many pieces of water than haven't been fished a one point or another, in my younger days I have been know to swim across that channel to fish the front side of the island  :wink:

hey thats beautiful.......yea that rip must be a sweet  place to fish........nice pic  both of the fish  and the light house/channel.........oh!!!! lets not forget the rocks........damn salt that was one hell of a fall

I've fished the front side in my boat a whole bunch of times. It's a nice run down from Wells. Steep dropoffs there.
