Hello,

I have been using a 60/40 combination of tung oil and mineral spirits to seal my lures. It usually works well but, after storing it in a ball jar and not using for a while, it got thick and clumpy. Its basically unusable. Does anyone know how to bring it back to a usable form or how should it be stored so this won't happen again?

It can't be restored now. Once it's lit off it's ng. Get a can of BLOXYGEN and put some in the top of the can/jar, and seal it with saran wrap.

Tung oil etc are called drying oils, they react with oxygen to cure the finish. Doesn't take much either and once it gets clumpy it's ng.
