Salty blank fish decoy

Fish decoy for spearing pike through the ice made from 5.5 inch Generic round nose white pine blank.
I have added a few more pictures. This summer I hope to make some matching lures with hooks and no fins.

I have carved and painted over 1200 fish decoys in the past 15 years so I guess you could say I have had a little practice. It is a real time saver to use a pre made blank. I will be ordering more in the future. here is a picture of myself and a 2 inch sunfish carved from walnut with a foredom carver.

Sent you a extra body that had a knot in the nose. Cut it out and make something :)

Great work! Your stuff reminds me of the lures they turn out in Scandinavia, especially Finland. Very creative.
