This is a VERY well written independent analysis of the sportfishing excise tax...what it is, it's history, why it's important....and most importantly where it all goes in your state....

VERY good reading and recommended to all. I found this report to be completely unbiased, well thought out, and written. It's current to March of this year.

Many know I've been openly critical of people skirting this because of the sheer volume of people doing it...this article echoes alot of stuff I've said to people. Especially page IV....

I've had several people question this today. Time for a refresh.

Excise is part of the total cost of the lures or parts. I can't change this. There is no excise on anything shipped out of the USA.
