How is everyone creating specialized patterns on their plugs? Spots and scales are relatively easy, but how about some mackerel stripes?  :rumbl: :rumbl:

FRISKETS can be made out of every day household things...tin foil, cardboard, personally I like the clear plastic that you rip out of the front of kids toys at Xmas....

do you use the plastic to make stencils, similar to using netting for scales?

I've had good luck with Photo Frisket available at Michaels and Joanne's.

That works too. It's typically one time use only though..

Take a sharpie marker and draw what you want on the plastic, then put it over a piece of cardboard, cut out outline with Xacto knife...bend over the lure and hold, mist paint through..let dry for a minute then remove.

You can do all kinds of shapes, lightning bolts, flames, anything you can think of.
