Received a very nice phone call today

This morning I had a very nice telephone conversation with Steve Amaral from Marthas Vineyard.

Stephen is 78 years old and has been fishing the MV Derby for 67 years continuous. I would like to take the time to congratulate him on not only this but the fact that he placed TOPS in the Senior class for Bluefish AND striped bass in Week 1 of the derby this year. Using Salty's Sandeel needles and Salty's Round Nosed Swimmers.

I think that's fantastic. Several years ago a wife of one of the member here placed first also for striped bass. I see a pattern here
