Sealing plugs

Hey fellas, I soaked my 4 oz. Conrads in blo and mineral spirits, how many days till its dry/ready to paint? I soaked them monday morning for three hours, while they were soaking i made sure to get in the holes and even took them out 3 times to rub the solution in then put them back in.  They have been hanging since monday at 10:00 am.... thanks fellas

let them dry a long time then let them dry even longer

at least 10 days with blo mix,try sanding sealer it drys faster and is safer.

say skiddd........zinsser has a product out there  called BULLS EYE  SEALCOAT  its a universal sanding sealer and its 100% wax free shellac..........soak your plugs in it for  5-10 min...or until you dont see any minni bubbles making the way to the top of the shellac....youll see what im talkin about...........some grain may rise on the plug but just sand it down a little this stuff dryes quick.......but give the plugs extra cureing time..........say like overnight............keep it simple..........stuff easy to use.......drys fast........it works for me.........and it will get your plugs in the water quicker

Very cool, i'm gonna go tommorrow and get some. Where to purchase? home depot, lowes, ace??  so your saying its a 1 day drying time? thats cool..........

yes skiddd  or your local paint store..............and yes a good 24hrs will do

that is cool, I'm thee at 0630 hs. when they open. I'm going to order more plugs today also........... I'm using flex coat for my top coat, how many coats do you guys reccommend? sorry about all the questions fellas, but you guys know your stuff....

well i use high build flexcoat and only one............but two cant hurt

don't put too much on you can ruin the action of many lures...

Did that, I made a drying stand out of a rod drying motor. You'll be getting a lot more questions fellas.... Thanks again........ Montauk soon, YEAH BABYYYYY SALTY PLUGS ARE GONNA GET SOME WORK(If I sealed right) lol  I think the 3oz. darter is gonna be a killer under the light, the super strike in yellow is my go to, but not the same as doing it yourself(painting and sealing I meen) the old Gibbs darters were a 3 hook design, they swim better than a 2 hook design, my opinion thats all.               Saw the Zinsser, SealCoat, universal sanding sealer, 100% wax free, Product #00851 at Lowes today. Is that right one? What primer do you use with it?
Didn't like working with BLO/Terp. (1st timer)
Have a "Canal Monster" still in the bag... will be ordering more kits. I like the sanding sealer idea.
