Fishing the CCC?
« on: February 20, 2013, 06:00:19 PM »
I don't get there much. Living in Wmass it's a long drive for no fish. I've been there a total of 8x's with no luck. Though the last time there my brother did get a small blue.
Working on a Canal Cruiser right now.
What are the best plugs? Aside from jigs. Lose them all the time.

there's fish in the canal? I don't fish it can't answer the question. I'm not a canal guy. Banana yellow works well, olive and white works well. If you can find breaking fish throw a big popper.

there's no fish in the canal

somewhere i have a picture of my fish finder going by one pole I think it was 130 or something. Top to bottom fish.

If I believed all the posts on SOL. It would be humble head tyrant Outta Luck for all of New England.

we use spend our summers vacations back in the 60's and 70's at the sagamore inn. someone in the family owned it. some of my best childhood memories were there. driving our minibike from the inn to the canal. I have pictures of my dad with huge fish from the canal back then. I would love to go back and check it out.

I'm hoping to get there in mid April and mid May. Nothing is set in stone yet.

Sounds like a plan. As for knowledge. I've never had much luck. Not for lack of trying though.
