Title: AYC 2x2 stock
Post by: Out Fishing on October 23, 2012, 07:38:23 PM
Could be a possibility of a few lifts in the next month. I have been approached by a large mill on the west coast about piggybacking some loads to Ma. Stay tuned  bananalama

If this works out we'll be doing this every other month from now on. Have to truck the stuff in but price is much cheaper that Liberty or anyone else sells for. I think this will be a nice stable source too. This is the first time I've shipped by rail like this. It's considerably cheaper than trucking it.

I'm gonna feel wicked guilty cutting this stuff up it's so nice. Very very very tight grain. Almost a fir consistency. Buttery smooth. This stuff is kiln dried I measured 9% on the gauge. Very nice.

NOTE these are NOT being sold as such...just in case there is an odd one that is out a millimeter.

These LOOK to be PERFECT squares. They are all smooth. 95% Grain rings so tight you have to hunt for them.

I will probably be keeping the 7'er lift for internal shop turning and kits so I wouldn't plan on any 7'ers which can't be shipped effectively anyways.

My truck smells awesome.

I just took 6pc of 4' and weighed they were all within 2.46 to 2.80 lbs. Very close in density. These will make some very nice and consistent lures.

Pickup is preferred on this stuff, I can ship either mail or fedex off the site but site may not calculate proper shipping. $45 a box of 9pc plus shipping.  Longer lengths additional.

Merry Xmas & Happy New Year!

Next traincar arrives tomorrow I'm told. This will have 6/4 on this load. 3,4,5,6,7,8' stock.

Next car arrives somewhere around the second week of April. Will have this up on the site later.
