weight for a metal lip swimmer

I recently tested a metal lipped swimmer that i made and it did not fly nice. I put a belly weight forward of the belly hook. The action while swimming is nice. Do i need to add another weight to get this to fly nice.
thanks mike

You need weight usually in the tail too plugger. Try a small slug either in the belly or directly in the tail.
