Put down the video game
« on: January 22, 2013, 07:45:38 PM »
"Hi Scott, just want to share with you the effect your kits have had on my oldest, he is 13 and ever sense Christmas when he opened the dastardly danny kit this is what he has been up to:) I couldn't be happier he has put down the video games and phone! And spent his time turning on his grandfathers old lathe. I helped him with layout but he turned them all by hand. And now he says he want to work for Salty's! I think I lost my sternman lol! He has work real hard on these plugs! We don't have a drill press yet looking for a used one to finish them up.
I truely enjoyed the time he and I have spent together Many thanks Rich"

Anytime you can get a kid to put down a video game and have some fun like this is time well spent.

years ago there was a ham radio net that was called that so I knew what it was.

I'll keep an eye out around here too for you.

Send us an update when he gets more done!
