Belly keel weight in front of the belly hook and weight the back so it's slightly tail down...very effective needle presentation.

1 regular belly wt, 2 small tail wt...

Or go 1 medium tail, one small and one large belly if you want a real fast sinker...

the originals had a belly and two tail wts.

I set up one with 2-6g tail weights and a 4 g belly weight just in front of the belly hook & the hook I positioned dead center at 3.5" sits tail down nose up slightly anymore weight up front and down she goes I'll probably need to order more since I'm doing everything by hand I guess you learn from your mistakes.Got a big notebook now.

Is it a mistake? I'd fish it before you declared that :)

ass down, nose up... I love it,  twich it and you'll see it walk a little and it will get slammed.  My Avatar pic with the needle in the fish... that's the action I caught one of my last bass last year with (ass down, nose up).  Handy will tell you, he was on the beach with me.  if you are going to toss it, toss it down to Green Lane   ;D   (I'll even pay for shipping - note-see other thread :D )

Like Salty said - I'd fish it first....

You can come catch my fish this year. Don't look good for me to fish. If it ain't the hand it's the arm then it's both.  :fart:
