Wtf!  :bash: he has no business Captaining a 33 foot vessel! Doesn't he know how to use a friggin' compass, not only that but I am sure a 30' plus boat come with standard nav equipment,
Also most phones nowadays have GPS.... That's why the Coast Guard and towboat US have jobs I guess

Not to mention they were on or near the western edge of Stellwagen Bank, Big friggin yellow buoy with sound signals You can't miss it
And to say nothing for the amount of boat traffic commercial and recreational That transit the area To get his bearings Even if by some chance he lost all of his electronics!
