Why I Don't Swim Down Here

Nothing like some relaxing red drum fishing after supper. These freaking things all over the place down here, including where I fish.

Talk about unwelcome dinner guests. Still, must be nice to have deep water that close to shore. All you need is a small boat to go after dolphin and sails. We thought about moving there for a while, but the cost of living was just too high.

There was a follow-up video where a guy hooked that particular shark, but his gear was too light. When the shark got bored with the fight, it just bit through the line and went on its way. I don't think the neighbors would react too kindly to somebody setting up a chum line in those waters. Labrador retrievers would be disappearing in droves. Of course, for anyone stuck in a nasty marriage, a bucket of chum is a lot cheaper than a divorce lawyer. (there was a time when I thought a lot about stuff like that)
