COMPLETELY not fishing related. Too awesome to not post though.
Today marked my end of 15 years of pinewood derby. Proud to say now we had 4 cars that were winners in all this time.
Winner winner chicken dinner (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNaTBXm1g00&feature=youtu.be#)
Jeremy put all the work into the car, this year I merely coached him and assisted when necessary. He cut it, sanded it, he did it all.
Woohoo we're going to the districts for the second time!!
Very proud of him! :bhappy: :bhappy: :bhappy:

A job well done. 15 years. WOW. Your a great dad. Scouting is a committment for parents and child. We did it from start to Eagle scout. Now he's alone finishing up his senior year in Florida. He always said 3 years ago, don't worry about me in school, I'm an Eagle Scout. I know what to do. I still have his 4 Pinewood cars. First one was a placing car. Ugly as heck but ran smooooooth. The others he wanted fancy but they never performed like the brick version.

Congrats to Jeremy (for doing a great job) & you (for being a good Dad). I too, am an Eagle scout. Be proud to do what you want & do it well! Nice accomplishment!!
