Conrad Sr vs. Conrad Jr.
« on: July 30, 2011, 04:00:53 PM »
Why is it that the Sr. will dig down and the Jr. is a top tail wagger I would assume the Jr. would need a larger wt to get down some I know some D.P. A-40's had a tail wt in addition to the bw. I believe he had 2 versions the one with the tw was more of a subsurface swimmer

There are two versions of his lures I have found, one is made of pine, one is made of birch. Conrad sr is birch like my originals. It's a heavier wood and doesn't take so much to sink. The jr is pine which is a much more buoyant wood. I have heard of these being done in birch, however I kept true to originals in these. If you want that to dig more bend the lower lip up some or add a weight in the chin back maybe an inch or so if it will fit.
