Lathe Part?

Aloha Scott, if I get this lathe,
http://www.harborfreight.com/5-speed-bench-top-wood-lathe-65345.html
What part do I need to order for "through drilling" Will the headstock hold a drill bit?
I see this part...
http://www.harborfreight.com/2-inch-mini-lathe-chuck-with-mt-1-shank-65132.html
I've seen pictures or videos that the tailstock holds the wood and the headstock holds the drill bit.
Is this correct?

You can't use that pin vise it's for mt1 taper. You need mt2 taper. You could use that for drilling if it had the right taper to fit in the lathe.

doing a switch a roo, getting this lathe from HF,
http://www.harborfreight.com/8-inch-x-12-inch-bench-top-wood-lathe-95607.html#reviews
Its a MT1, no drill chuck available from HF.
Question... my last one I promise...ok I lying.....
Does the chuck that comes with this lathe be able to hold a drill bit? or do I need this, to accomplish thru drilling?
http://www.harborfreight.com/2-inch-mini-lathe-chuck-with-mt-1-shank-65132.html

Jet makes a very nice lathe. Many of these lathes are made in the same factories but colored different or different features. The Jet stuff is quality. A jaw chuck is good for turning bowls not lures. What would it cost to ship 60 lbs to Hawaii? Offer the guy $325 cash and see what he says. All he can do is turn you down.

Thanks Scott! I picked it up for asking price, there was 3 guys in line, and I was the first one to repsond. The nova chuck sells for at least 100.00.
Its in really good condition, he said he turned a couple of bowls and that was it...
