Nice video Zeno put up today.  Salty's is the only commercial mfg of casting eggs and they're one of our biggest sellers.

Pretty much a rehash of what we been saying for years but a good video on how they work.

Good video i like to use something similar water filled bubble float with a fly tied of it , work very well sometimes out fish plugs and bait.

What retrieve have you all found the best when using these casting eggs, ive had some good success using small 2 1/2" fin-s and small flys retrieving slower than slow with a 5` leader,

Also i tried to teach others who where using plugs that had to pack up and go home to change over to casting eggs and fish soft plastics weedless ,tough luck to them who will NOT listen.

Retrieve as fast or as slow as the fish want. The rolly polly of the egg is what gets their attention and the fly is just along for the ride :)

Stripers like their last meal really slow. Bluefish like it a bit faster as do albies etc in the funny fish families. There may be other fish that like it slow also. I think the best action is a twitch pause reel pause twitch reel pause real erratic.
