Giganto popper
« on: October 14, 2011, 03:53:26 PM »
New 13" popper

I got to take a video of this thing turning on the cnc. Maple....It changes speed 11 times faster and slower, starts at 2000 rpm and finishes at 7000

The finish sand is smoother than a babies butt. Locked tailstock with motor driven almost to the point of stall at 2hp.  Servos not even wimpering. I actually stalled the motor and threw the spindle drive into error with a fresh cutter I said hoooooooly jumpin chipmunk batman time for a bigger motor
