Site downage
« on: August 22, 2013, 05:50:54 PM »
Over the next 3-4 weeks there may be intermittent outages on the entire site. I signed up for a new server today. This one been going since 2008 and I'm getting tired of kicking the tires to make it work. We're going cloud technology now  Outages will happen overnight when possible.

If you see nekkid dancing girls anywhere on the site while it's down....... well just enjoy them  :)   If you see Peter J dancing nekkid........run  :-\ :D

Long term plan is to have a new website in place here by this time next year. Hold my beer I'm goin in  :)

THE ENTIRE SERVER WILL BE DOWN STARTING AT 11PM EASTERN TONITE. SHOULD BE BACK UP SOMETIME OVERNIGHT. This is the first part of the migration.

Just wanted to let you know that I've finally reached my limit with you slandering bastards and have referred this matter to the legal department here at the world headquarters of Jacobson Nefarious Enterprises, VLLC.  My chief counsel, Sharkey "C-Note" Nosferatu, Esq., has assured me that he will have your asses in a sling before you can say "substantial monetary settlement."

Newcomers to this site need to be made aware that, despite the false impression created by certain malicious individuals here, I rarely perform nude dances anywhere other than private venues, where my talents can be appreciated by friends, paying customers, and carefully chosen livestock. The costumes worn during my public performances are suitably modest and selected with good taste in mind at all times.

It's a good thing you spit that sandwich - I'd hate to see you choke to death before my crack legal team has a chance to drag your assets into court.

Welcome to the club. I've got two ex-wives who never got tired of telling me I was worthless and so far, they've been 100% right. Hell, I could write my will on the back of a postage stamp. At this point, my only hope is Powerball.

Nah, I'm still hoping and waiting. Not sure you'll be allowed aboard my yacht though. I'm still paying off the fines from the last time I let you use my boat. .

Well just today they did get all the web stuff moved over and it looks like even the forum is in one piece. I can see it on the new server  :bhappy:

This week they will be migrating the cart over all behind the scenes. Hopefully by this time next weekend we'll be doing syncs, then dns changes to make your browser point to the new server, and the new server will go LIVE

Please bear with us as we grow!

There have been no reports of Nekkid old men from Virginia while this has been down. Defcon level is now returned to level 5 yellow. (that means your good but make sure your ready to close your eyes just in case) Hi Peter  :-* :)
