Title: How your lips are made
Post by: Out Fishing on July 01, 2010, 11:37:08 AM
As some of you know I purchased a new 20 ton press last week. Got the die shoe done this morning, first pic is on the mill doing the drilling of the die shoe for the punch stripper. Other pics show how the press is setup. Round piece in the middle is the punch die for a a40jr lip. There's a piece of stock in the pic shows how it gets fed through the press.

Something different not many get to see.

Got it in the shop today, that was a 2 hour job itself. Got it wired. Troubleshot a problem with the machine from shipment vibration...tomorrow I'm going to start installing the air feed.
