saltys 4"plooper popper

 i havent test cast this popper.......yet and was thinking of a small tail weight  just  like maybe cutting the regular size in 1/2.......has anybody tossed this plug un weighted   and how did it cast.....the reason i ask is i just turned  a couple and  and wondering if i should drill for a small weight.............thanks handyman :)

I put a small tail weight in those for the toona popper Handycat

say salt.....wa da think.......should i  cut the tail weight in half  for the  popper   or use the whole weight......my concern is once the hooks are installed i dont want to loose the boyantsie of the plug........ and im wondering if the hole weight goes in  ill loose the float...... whats your advice ....on the super dooper plooper popper
