how do most of you drill your through holes

with a drill press.....and useing  pine balaster square stock ... mark out your centers from corner to corner.......lathe out your plug...at the square ends of the plug find the centers of the squares ....draw lines from the marks across the plug top to bottm...... on these lines you will mark for the eyes, belly weight, belly hooks dont cut the square end off the plug yet......ill go to the drillpress  using the cross marks on both ends of the plug ill drill threw to the belly and hook holes
than reverse the plug and drill threw to hit the hook hole.......now u can cut the square ends off....when u drill  go slow and clean the bit as u go......if u drill useing a saltys drillbit....be warned they are extreamly sharp  and they like to chew  be careful   good luck! :)

say plugger one more thing  bradpoint drill bits work good ;)
