One down. Great Show! Sad to note there was an accident there tonite and I helped lift a 6' tall 1500lb safe off a woman.  I watched it happen and started screaming help immediately as I ran to her. Took about 7 guys to lift the thing. I hope she's ok.

Load-in to Worcester next Tuesday.

Anyone who has an order or an email in over the past few days I hope to have everything shipped in the next few days. There's alot and it's gonna take some serious catching up.

I'm so pissed I missed this show,  I did not realize that you would be there till I read thread at 1:00 pm Sunday.  I just wished it was mentioned in one of the emails I sent this week.  I actually asked in one email  if you were doing any local shows but since I didn't get that email to you till Wed or Thur I never received a reply.
You may remember, my email was regarding the Sand Eel swimmer lip.  I'm going to buy a kit but also asked about what lip was used as I wanted to order some along w/ kit and the mess of other supplies I need as I think lip may work for a few other plugs I making/designed.  I was diappointed w/ reply as as size of lip was not mentioned in email.  I have bought 7 of your other kits back in the summer and was very please with them ;D

njfish I wasn't able to send any emails on my cellphone for some reason to reply to people, as such I was one way all the time I was down there. Sorry you missed this. We'll be in Philadelphia in a few weeks and that will be a show not to miss... lots of emails to catch up on this week.

"I went to the hospital last night. She fractured her pelvis. She's going to be here for a little while. I'm going to visit her again today. She's not from here so I'm sure its going to be tough on her family and friends to be here every day. The drugs were kicking in when I saw her last night. Her spirits were good, she said she's lucky, it could have been worse. Her first question was how was the show? I told her she was crazy for asking and the show was not our concern at this point. I asked her if there was anything she needed she said how about a cheeseburger which made us all laugh. She's a great girl. Its very unfortunate and a horrible way to end what had been a good weekend."

Scared the crap out of me. If it wasn't for me with a loud yell I don't think enough guys would have been there quick enough to help us lift it off her.  Could have been alot worse.

Wow, I missed that safe post.  I know what those things are like and can't even imagine having one fall on me.  We loaded a huge 6' tall Fort Knox safe into my sisters many years ago.  We actually doubled up on the floor joists with micro lams to hold the weight.  Just want to clarify that I'm not pissed at you, more myself for missing info

no issues.

She's lucky there was enough guys around to help lift it. It took over 30 minutes for an ambulance and cops to get there. She was in shock within 5 min. My voice is wicked hoarse today I yelled so loud it did something to my voice box.

Yeah that's messed up
Weird that you also mentioned this.  I was moving a large vending machine today, using a tilting trailer and large appliance hand truck.  As I was sliding out the machine back and trailer it tilted.  This caused me, hand truck and machine to go flying backwards of the back of trailer.  As I lay on the ground with machine on top of me all I could do was think of you, the lady and safe.  Thank god the machine was only an inkling of the safe's weight but heavy enough.  Effed up my back, knee and foot-well really aggivated old injuries
God Bless that lady and I hope she has a speedy recovery.  Also Good job on your part

salty, when you tried to move the safe, did you use your weight to your advantage, if you did and it still didn't budge that must have been one heavy safe.  ;D
