MOST LIKELY why would they let you go across for free anywhere else. Nobody would use their bridge!

Freikin bridges there are on borrowed time. Those things were built a long time ago. Current engineering I bet would not build them like that.

oh wait watch they'll source the bridge from China.

That's what I figured. So now we can look forward to paying for a single bridge with two other bridges that are already paid for. Gotta love Taxachusetts.
