Title: rods/n reels
Post by: shark on January 21, 2011, 12:22:13 PM
Hi all what type of rods do you use for your striper fishing ie lenght casting weight, mainly could you just give me some info on how your set up for fishing for them strippers, our bass are a lot smaller then yours so we tend to go for 8`6" rods that have casting rating from 10g -45g  some go heaver, im looking at a diferent rod that i can blast out a 1oz wood plug a good distance just to see whats further out.

thanks shark

its a lamiglas blank, have a custom rod built using that blank. I believe the lami rod that uses that blank is the 101ms or sumthing like that.

I had a factory rod then had my friend build me a custom one using the same blank, huge difference in the custom one.
