Michael's stores had some gold metallic "tube ribbon" on closeout today for .99 a package of abt 10' they also had some red left too. This stuff is pvc/metallic plastic. It's 3/4" diameter and put over a needlefish or small popper body and painted on the back would be a absolute KILLER color needle/popper that would be very unique. It's like that Chinese fingergrip type of style material so when you push it together it's big but when you stretch it it will conform to shapes.. You can glue this stuff down on a wood body..

So if your near a Michaels check it out and see if they got any. I'd imagine there were more colors too, maybe other stores have them.
