Hey fellas I just finished a 3oz. darter, on the website it says 4/0 trebles on the front, belly and rear. They seem a little big to me, is this right? also do you guys use split rings on these?? Thanks fellas............

That is the right size. And either cut the hooks or use a #4 triple split ring.

I went out yesterday morning with my newly finished 4oz. conrad, conrad junior, 3oz. darter, and 3oz. needlefish. I wanted to go in and eat the conrad junior. these plugs are gonna see a lot of work. I'm gonna post some pics soon, not the greatest paintjob i can tell you that.

say skiddd   remember   you only hook people  with nice color paint jobs on lures and plugs.........fish dont care.....size and presentation and being there at the right time is the key.......i gave this plug to a buddy of mine last year and he got tangled up with a bunch of toothie lil buggers........som bitch  plug looked like a chainsaw hit it  the worse it got the more fish he caught.....i remember tying up a few wooleybuggers to go small mouth fishing....after a good days workout with the same fly  thing barely had any feathers on it........but it still caught fish...........post your pics........the longer you paint the better they get.............catch a BIGONE

I agree with Handy - all you really need are black and white, (and you could probably do without the black) but how much fun would that be? Looking forward to some pix.

But . . .. making nice looking lures is part of the fun of making them in the first place !!!

I could see the bridge was lined with bears, but I didn't have a dog gone dime.
