Croak- i think im going to go with Handys method, using the Zinser quick soak. i just hope the primer i use will stick to it(urathane based). one friend thats a chemist says they will(has no actual paint exp) one friend that painted cars for 20 years says it wont. so FINGERSCROSSED!!

Handy- thanks! i needed a ruler on my rod bench but i need something with a little bit of class. so a delux fish tape sufficed

handyman

just some swimmers hahn style

 Handyman,
Do you turn, drill and cut all the plugs yourself ?
Nice work... I'm happy I can get kits sealed, (your method) assembled and Spray bombed.

yea tom i lathe my plugs out..... cut/drill......im working on some eels to fish at night with.......the tuffest plugs to do are needles   only cause of the threw wire hole....and long bodylenth....i drill all the body holes on the needles first and then  drill 1/2 way from the nose end to the belly....then drill 1/2 way from the tail towards the belly hook hole

thanks tom  :)
