The reason I asked is because you had mentioned in a post that they sould be around about January...  Okey then Scott take your time and get em right the first time...

I remember getting a darter as a present from the late Percy heath, it was an old 3 treble gibbs... but he told me that these darters were made in bunches that were different and that this one was a winner...
Boy that darter was magical... I fished it standing next to top sharpies also fishing Gibbs darters and took fish when they could not...

After hundreds of good fish the Plug looked like a corn cob and still continued to slay big fish... one night in a full moon no one had anything so I put that darter on ( it had no paint left on it, and looked like a corn cob) first cast I was on into a huge striper.. 15 minutes and many long runs later I got the fish in wash looked way over 40 .. then suddenly it rolled in the suds and caught the leader with its gill plate and swam off.. the plug was still in its mouth... it spit the plug about 30 yards off the beach I cast for hours trying to snag that plug... until it finally went under for good....

That was one hell of a darter..
Scott make a darter like that one ;

I smell birch today......

The first darter will be the copy of the original Danny Pichney darter...which is what I have been recommended by Iron Mike and others...most seem to prefer this 2.5-3 oz size.
