#4-3X Strong 10 Pack Stainless triple rings,
110lb rating. Good for smaller lures and for keeping hooks close to the
belly of a lure. Since VMC doesn't recommend their hooks to be cut for
durability issues, these small triple rings work very well on lures like
darters etc where you want the hooks to stay tight to the body for less
chance of spiking and fouling. They are a little over 1/4" diameter. |

rings, 270lb rating, these are about 3/8" diameter.
These split rings really are serious overkill-if
you are opening 2x split rings then I recommend you loosen your drag.
This is light tackle fishing and today's braids don't stretch like the
lines previously available. Use for tuna fishing, GT, etc. |
