hay thanks tom.....i have some kits and i also lathe out my own plugs.......the surfsters are from an old bob hahn plug i just didnt put the sloped head on it......and a buddy had an old eel that he wanted me to copy for him so i lathe out a few for him... it was a old tattoo wooden eel....  i like the diameter of the head   and the gags whip-it eel matched perfectly  as with the hurley rat tail

How did you color those?

transfast ...its an alcohol soluble dye...........dont need much...........i laid on the blue first  which laid in the grain nicely.........then wiped the needle with yellow    which turned green........

Very nice job Handy I was wonderin g about dyes instead of paint I would imagine it adheres a whole lot better.
