The two forage fish we have in the Chesapeake Bay are menhaden and bay anchovy. That's why I chose the colors. The fish love them when we aren't filled up with muddy crap from the Susquehannah...at this point fishing is on hold with us for fear of hitting a submerged object. I saw a tree floating at surface level. Wouldn't want to hit that at speed! 

yea bill i hear that......i was fishing Island Beach today and managed to find some nice driftwood.......and also saw the hand rail with hardware from a boat.........hay i just got some carving kits from salty......ya got to check them out..... sweet.....well im in training for the fall run......and that means getting up at the ungodly hour 3:30.....jump into the truck.....take the 1.5hr drive to the beach.....arrive on the beach at 5:00 and fish till 9:00 shoot back home and head to work........and i take fridays off to boot
