We make all our lures
standard with Siwash hooks for best hook-up! Less hooks is a cleaner
release and the siwash hook means less chance of the fish getting
leverage and "spitting" the hook!
Proper presentation of a Danny swimmer lure is to cast
then very slowly retrieve, stop occasionally, and also occasionally twitch
the rod tip to let the lip throw some water.
The lure will wiggle
it's tail end back and forth and wobble right on top. These lures are
designed to be surface swimmers, on a faster retrieve they will swim just below the surface.
Danny lures are meant to be worked on top real slow. If your digging
below the surface then slow down. The Salty's Danny lure is absolutely
deadly and a go-to for many!
Fish key in on the V wake and snake like action that these produce and
will
explosively hit these lures!
