Lure Turning Motor, Again...

cabelas has a small rod turning motor, I used to put a keychain split ring on the end of it and hooks plugs end to end. Use 4" angle braces mounted to a piece of pine to support every 2 lures.

I use a 1 inch diameter dowl and drill holes and insert electric clips on either end.  I have four on each end.  I can then attach 4 plugs and rotate the dowl using the electric motor.

hope this helps tom....like i said the motor is a work horse plus its biderectional so you can spin your plug clockwise or counter clockwise   rod builders supply carries these motors   try mudhole tackle  if you have a local rod building shop near you they might have them there

no the rotisserie set up works well to......but that motor cost 75-80 smakers.........unless you have a nieghbor close  by that  you can permanetly barrow his .........i dont turn many plugs

Thanks for the replies. My rotisserie motor has a blazing 3 rpm. It looks like I'll be buying from Mud Hole.  They have a 30 or 9 rpm motor ? I would like to try Flex Coat. Lite or high build?  When using the syringes, can they be cleaned and reused? Have only used rattle can clear coat, not too bad...One more step.   Will be looking into all suggestions. Thanks...

say tom.... speaking for myself i use flex coat high build you can use both yes you can clean the syringes with alchohol......but you must realy flush them out.....and i play it safe by throwing them out the third time around same with the brushes........when you use the flex coat i must be stired at least 3min or until it gets clear again.....when you first stir it ...it will get cloudy ...keep stiring until it gets clear again........add a little fine glitter  not to much  you should be good with....2ml of each hardener/resen..................good luck........mudhole has the glitter
